This year, the Festival will be held outdoors! For six days, new and free activities will be offered to the whole family.

Free outdoor activities will be held from July 13 to 18 on the Parterre of the Quartier des spectacles in Montréal. Six days of completely new experiences, imagined for the greater pleasure of festivalgoers, who will be enraptured regardless of age.

From tuesday 13 to friday 16 : 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm
Saturday 17 and sunday 18 : 1:00 pm to 11:00 pm

GIANT PROJECTIONS ON THE FAÇADE OF THE ”MAISON SYMPHONIQUE”

A breathtaking sensory experience!

 

 

Enjoy the monumental projections combined with light effects!
This visual environment tells the story of the highlights of the Festival’s 35 years, using archive images and special effects.

The sound and light show, in the company of emblematic artists, will transport you to lush landscapes.

In addition, each evening, relive one of the Great Concerts of Nuits d’Afrique, these memorable events of the Festival, to discover in projections.

 

 

 

 


 

OPEN AIR PHOTO EXHIBITION !

35 years in pictures

 

 

From July 6 to August 8

To all these indoor, outdoor and webcast presentations will be added a photo exhibition using images to celebrate the places, the artists and the crowds that have brought the Festival’s stages to life during those 35 years.

During the month of July, on the Parterre of the Quartier des spectacles, festivalgoers can enjoy a stroll with cultures meeting, sharing and celebrating as they view 30 giant photos taken at random by Festival photographers.
