Activities to be discovered…

 

Discover the wonderful and unique musical instruments whether they be lesser known such as the Kora, the Geumbri, the N'goni, the Balafon, and the N'kuu, Latin or West African percussion instruments they will be explained in a fun and interactive atmosphere. All of these workshops will be hosted by professional musicians.

You may also learn about other facets of African culture and its diaspora by attending the various storytelling events - uncover the meaning behind African masks, or learn about gumboot and its origins.
