Description of the concert:

A product of the abolition of slavery in the mid-19th century, the culture of the Mornes tells of the new life of these free men who set off to cultivate the land in the mountains. It talks about solidarity and the pleasure of enjoying the fruit of one’s labour. Madin’Free-K, whose leader was trained by Eugène Mona, THE emblematic figure in the music of the Mornes, has taken on a mandate to bring this sunny tradition alive – in its own way!
