The opening concert of “Nuits d’Afrique….aux rythmes d’hier à aujourd’hui” with a performance by the international artist Meklit Hadero, originating from Ethiopia, the cradle of civilization. All alone, she embodies and summarizes perfectly the theme”….D’hier à aujourd’hui” with her music with notes of soul which puts forward her ethipian roots as well as the poetry sometimes dark sometimes luminous of this always committed bohemian artist.

Biography of the artist:

Born in Ethiopia in the early 1980s, Meklit Hadero grew up in the United States, first in Iowa, then in New York and finally in Florida – a journey in an eclectic and artistically rich setting.
