Founded in 2008 by young music students at CEGEP Marie-Victorin, the group was first created in order to play rock. They pay tribute to the King, but also explore the great style of Little Richard, The Beatles, Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry, etc..In 2010 the group decided to take a break and work on new music: SEGA. This is a typical music of Mauritius, created by African slaves, it is the most common art form of the island. It is danced by dragging their feet on the ground without lifting them. The apparent simplicity of this dance originated in the fact that the sand prevented from doing any sophisticated steps. As for the music, it mixes its African origins to the rhythms of Latin American salsa and Caribbean calypso. It is a cheerful music, bringing the values of the Mauritian, intermarried several cultures: Creole, African, Asian and European.
