Projet Marianne

Biography :

Marianne is a little bit of a woman who has a smile as wide as the Earth.

His energy, his voice and his songs speak volumes about his vast and surprising course.

His texts know how to charm and to make reflect by their originality and their authenticity.

Halfway between Pauline Julien, Diane Dufresne and Les Colocs, she uses words for

share one of his great passions, the Human.

 

She is alone on stage, in her neighborhood of Plateau Mont-Royal, from the age of 9 years.

At the age of 14, she began her studies in Classical Chant, which will lead her to

CEGEP.

 

Apparitions in several competitions including Geoges d’Or and Trois Pistoles in Song him

were awarded in the finals and the public prize. It’s with only two songs

in hand that she enters the National School of Chanson de Granby in 2007. Since then, the little strand of woman that Marianne strives to write her own lyrics that she wants empathy and empathy reflections.

Then followed an avalanche of musical projects broke where she is successively keyboardist, singer, chorister, slameuse, woman-orchestra and much more. She was a wrestler, a playwright, a children’s show host on a Canada-wide tour, a soloist for the Radio-Canada choir, an improvisation contest finalist, radio host, and tv-web, director of music video, creative events, yoga teacher, chef in cooking and to date, active member of Deux Folles & a banjo, theatrical project of absurd humorous songs manipulated with Renée Gélineau.

 

Today, she sings with her ukulele. Alone, in trio with bass and percussion or in more complex formation

she has fun, surprises and charms with her colorful chords, varied rhythms and powerful lyrics. With its graceful arabesque melodies, Projet Marianne offers a profound and entertaining performance, worthy of its experience and joie de vivre.
