Biography :

Salène Désauguste, born June 16, 1990, is known as a singer, actress and actress under the name of Sallie. Originally from the Grand Rivière du Nord (Haiti), very young Sallie was put in contact with music, thanks to her great saxophonist and keybaodist and her parents who believed in her singing skills.

March 2003, Sallie was the 3rd winner of the French song competition organized by CLAL on the occasion of the celebration of the Francophonie in her hometown.

2008, Sallie won 1st prize in the inter collegiate singing contest by bringing the trophy back to her high school.

In the capital of Haiti, Port-au-Prince, she made a journey on different stages with different Haitian and foreign artists such as Wooly Saint Louis Jean, Manno Charlemagne, and singer Zouk Martinique Eric Virgal {at the Festival of zouk Mania (2013), Canne-à-Sucre Historical Park) and annual concerts at the Karibe Convention Center (2014-2015) and the Oasis Hotel (2015)}

In Montreal, she shares herself between studies and the music scene. From musicals (David Mezy’s Coeur de Lionne and Frantz Benjamin’s Tan Lapli) to solo shows, Sallie seeks to create a place for herself in Montreal’s various communities. She has participated in Nuit Blanche in Montreal (Escalier bar, 2016) and other shows in places like Club Balattou (2016), Center Réné Groupil (2016), La Maison d? Haiti (2016-2017), Le Leonardo Da Vinci Center (2017), Sala Rosa (2017), Art Nouveau (2016), Bar Stairs (2016-2017).

During the summer of 2017, she was one of the discoveries of the Festival des Talents Féminins (FITAF) in Montreal. Similarly, on August 31, 2017, a diverse audience enjoyed Sallie’s first solo concert at L? Escalier bar in downtown Montreal.

In February 2017, she launched her first single “BRI PYE W” a personal composition for which she made a media tour in Haiti and Montreal. On October 1st, she published on the web the official video which is also in rotation in several television channels of her country, in particular the National Television (TNH).

Currently, Milot Eliassaint of Mmusic Creations produces his album which will be a variety of languages and musical styles
