Soul & Sister
Soul & Sister is a sister and brother duo. They play folk and acoustic music.
The group did a lot of shows like Soeurs Boulay’s first part show, La Place des Arts and many festivals like the International Balloon Festival and Vue sur la relève. Soul & Sister took part in two TV shows.
One of their songs has been picked up by French director Bibo Bergeron – director of the short film Foudroyé – whose main office is in Paris and will be featured in many festivals around the globe, including the SVOD TV5 and the World Film Festival in the United States. In addition, Foudroyé will be screened at the ColCoa (Hollywood) in April, and one of Charles-David’s songs will be on the soundtracks.
Charles-David is a singer, songwriter and composer and Maude is the songbird alongside him, as well as the artistic director. Their first album, titled Sow Love, was recorded in 2014 and consists of 11 songs (available on iTunes and other online platforms). They recorded a second album titled Vieux Cahier troué, which also consists of 11 songs and has been released in May 2015. Charles is multi-instrumentalist, so it brings variousness to their different performances. From guitar to the banjo, passing by the ukulele and the piano, the whole thing played on songs of music and wordsdistinguished and authentic.
