EN DIRECT DES NUITS D’AFRIQUE DE MONTRÉAL – 2021

This event offers you three exclusive evenings of concerts with a dozen artists. With them, we take you back to the highlights of the 35th edition of the Festival international Nuits d’Afrique. An anniversary edition that took place last July!

These three evenings were webcast on Facebook Live on 16, 17 and 18 December, from 7.30pm.

THE ARTISTS

Carine au Micro (Benin – Qc)

Carine au Micro shakes up genres with vodou rhythms, jazz, soul and gospel.

Clerel (Cameroun – Qc)

This singer-songwriter’s soulful, R&B and gospel-infused music is supported by acoustic guitar lines.

Blaise Labamba (DR Congo – Qc)

Congolese rumba and soukous in the purest tradition! 

Jab Djab and guests, with King Shadrock, Kabey Konaté and Kayiri (Trinidad – Jamaica – Burkina Faso – Qc)

Pioneers of world music in Montreal, Jab Djab cabriole between Reggae, Soca, Calypso and Zouk. To celebrate this anniversary edition, they are surrounded by 3 exceptional guest artists, paying a fiery tribute to the plurality of rhythms.
