KABEY KONATE AND FARAFINA ROOTS

Kabey Konaté est un chanteur burkinabè engagé et charismatique ayant partagé la scène avec les plus grands du reggae africain.

Avec son univers reggae saupoudré de sonorités mandingues, ce jeune artiste burkinabé, né en Côte d’Ivoire, poursuit une tradition familiale, menée par sa mère, griotte, et son frère aîné, célèbre percussionniste.

En 2006, il interprète ses chansons en première partie d’un concert d’Alpha Blondy. En 2010, il sort son premier album, Douaou, fruit de diverses collaborations. En 2014, s’ensuit un maxi album, African Elections. Et en décembre 2017, il lance son troisième album, Kele Massa, confirmant son talent d’artiste engagé.
