In the same way that his latest album, Soft Power, released in 2020, encapsulates a world of sound, this musician-producer-DJ continually draws on Montreal’s character, the diverse origins of its artist and its extraordinary social cohesiveness. His electropop acts as a thread connecting different rhythmic styles, Brazilian to Mozambican, Haitian to Mauritanian, Mexican to Jamaican, creating a music that is festive, energizing and full of optimism.
