Barrut is like a tightrope stretched above the abyss. Harmony keeps us from falling. Voices intertwine. Composed of 3 female singers, 4 male singers, and a percussionist, all from the northern shores of the Mediterranean, Barrut travels the roads, and their choruses beat. We remain suspended on their lips, swaying fearlessly in balance, listening to the powerful songs they whisper to our souls. Don’t try to understand—immerse yourself in this polyphony. The seven voices rise in subtle harmony with strong emotional power, drawing from the origins of polyphonic singing and merging it with the powerful rhythms of sharp, rock-carved percussion.
