Every year, we’re delighted to be able to count on a hundred or so volunteers to represent the Festival to festival-goers.

Being a Nuits d’Afrique volunteer means meeting new people, making an eco-responsible contribution and, of course, having fun.

Many volunteer positions are available, so you can find a position that suits you: indoors, but especially outdoors.

The benefits of being a volunteer at the Festival International Nuits d’Afrique are :

– Free meals and drinks

– Nuits d’Afrique T-shirt

– Volunteer party

– Gifts from our partners

– Letter of recommendation

           and much more …

While we’re waiting for the form for the new edition, you can register as a volunteer with our partner Accès Bénévolat, so you’ll be notified as soon as we publish our call for volunteers.

Les Productions Nuits d’Afrique are proud to collaborate with Accès Bénévolat!

Their support allows us to be accompanied by a great team of volunteers for our 37th edition of the Festival international Nuits d’Afrique.

What is Accès Bénévolat?

Accès Bénévolat is a community organization, member of the Fédération des centers d’action bénévole du Québec and of Volunteer Canada, which has been in existence since 1982 and is celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2022! Each year, they connect hundreds of volunteers and over 300 social organizations, and are also present in the community through projects and round tables to meet the needs of their communities. Their mission is to promote and develop volunteerism in the east end of Montreal. It is articulated around the following three fields of action:

> Development of volunteer and community action,

> Support for the community, including volunteers, member organizations and the beneficiaries of our services

> Governance and associative life, guaranteeing transparent democratic management and dynamic associative life.

They defend the vision of an inclusive volunteerism. It is an act of citizen participation, voluntary, free, and accessible to all, and is representative of the diversity of groups and communities that make up Montreal society today.
