TEAM SALSA SEXTET
About
Team Salsa Sextet delivers an irresistible groove, straight from the streets of Havana, with a deliberate detour through the Latino hoods of New York.
Relating stories of exile, celebration and cultural resistance, their salsa del barrio—rich, authentic, vibrant and unshakeable—celebrates Afro-rhythms passed down through the generations by infusing them with a healthy dose of improvisation and swing. Sizzling percussion with a brass section driving the rhythm, every track is an invitation to dance to your heart’s content. It’s feverish and it’s contagious!
