The great Angélique Kidjo has nothing but praise for Sampa Tembo, with whom she has collaborated on several occasions, especially respecting her dedication as a female artist.  The radiant Sampa the Great confidently offers her listeners powerful, catchy rap music, richly infused with intelligence. Influenced by jazz and soul, her funky band prominently features electric guitar, drums and synth, while she raps in a husky voice, effortlessly harmonizing with a chorus of backing vocalists to deliver her moving lyrics.
