BOULILA

Boulila is a Montreal-based musical fusion group blending gnawa, jazz, blues, funk and afrobeat. Founded in 2016 by Yassine Boudouch, the project draws on the mystical sound of the guembri and the trance rhythms of rattlesnakes to create vibrant and hypnotic music. After beginnings rooted in the Gnawa tradition in Montreal, the band evolved towards a more fusion-oriented formula in 2019. Boulila then multiplied collaborations and attracted the attention of the public and the media, particularly after winning first prize at the Syli d’Or springboard. Invited to several festivals, the band is gradually establishing itself on the Quebec music scene. Between African heritage and contemporary influences, Boulila offers an energetic and immersive musical experience, affirming an artistic identity in full expansion.

It is a whole program that awaits you, especially concocted for the public! You will be able to enjoy live performances every week, from Thursday to Sunday, at 9pm. A musical rendez-vous, which makes you travel through Africa, the Caribbean and Latin America, not to be missed !
