Accessibility
At Productions Nuits d’Afrique, we are continuously working to improve universal accessibility for our events, to make culture accessible to everyone. We organize events both indoors and outdoors.
Our outdoor festival takes place at the Parterre and the Esplanade Tranquille in Montreal’s Quartier des Spectacles. For several years, we have been developing universal accessibility for all. Various measures have been implemented to make the experience of festival-goers with reduced mobility even more pleasant and inclusive.
AREA RESERVED FOR PEOPLE WITH REDUCED MOBILITY AT THE PARTERRE
We have set up a reserved area for people with reduced mobility who wish to attend an outdoor festival show. It is located at the Parterre.
It is a secure space offering a great view of the performances.
ACCESSIBLE TOILETS FOR PEOPLE WITH REDUCED MOBILITY
Four gender-neutral portable toilets accessible to people with reduced mobility are available on the Parterre site of the Quartier des Spectacles.
Other accessible toilets for everyone can be found at the Esplanade Tranquille, on the ground floor, upstairs, and outside.
REST AREAS AND RELATED SERVICES
On the upper floor of the Esplanade Tranquille, you’ll find a nursing room as well as an air-conditioned public area.
SOUND SENSITIVITY
Earplugs are available free of charge at the welcome booths (subject to availability).

FREE ADMISSION FOR COMPANIONS
We are proud to be partners of the Companion Leisure Card (Carte Accompagnement Loisir).
With the Companion Leisure Card (CAL), as a person with a disability, you do not have to pay the admission fee for your companion to attend our concerts and activities. However, you must pay for your own admission. We encourage you to contact the venues directly to verify accessibility and reserve a seat for your companion.

We are aware that despite these efforts, some barriers may still exist. We invite you to share your suggestions or specific needs with us so we can continue improving accessibility for everyone.
