ANDY RUBAL

Originally from Santiago de Cuba, Andy Rubal has established himself as one of the ambassadors of Cuban music in Quebec and Canada. A pianist, singer, songwriter and arranger, he invites everyone to join him in a whirlwind of rhythms and virtuosity. In 2025, Andy released his new album Baila y Confía, acclaimed for its inspired fusion of traditional Cuban rhythms, timba and modern influences. Rooted in his cultural heritage, Andy Rubal skilfully blends the sounds of his native land with the influence of Quebec culture. Introduced to salsa as a child with the group Baby Salsa and trained at the Higher Institute of Art in Havana, Andy Rubal demonstrates a technical and artistic mastery that brings Cuban culture to the four corners of the world.
