BO DIAW

A rising star on the Canadian scene, BO DIAW has made his mark with a musical style that blends different cultures. Born in Dakar into a family of artists and inspired by his father, musician Abdou Diaw, he made a name for himself with the group Mballo Assiko. 

Based between Senegal and Canada, he has developed a hybrid style combining pop, reggae, dancehall, afrobeat and mballax. In 2013, he made a lasting impression with the hit ‘C’est ma blonde !’, followed by notable tracks such as “Hypnotize” and ‘Yaw Lay Weur’. Winner of the Gala Dynastie award for ‘World Music Artist or Group of the Year’, he has performed on stages across Africa, Europe and America. 

With his album The Village (2024), BO DIAW confirms his artistic vision, open to the world, combining cultural memory and musical audacity.
