BOUBÉ

 Boubé radiates a desert blues inspired by the nomadic Berber rhythms of the central Sahara. A charismatic singer-songwriter, he has developed a style of music that is both hypnotic and powerful, combining meditative melodies with untamed rock. Winner of the Syli d’Argent world music award in 2024, he has established himself as one of the rising voices of the contemporary Saharan scene. On stage, he alternates between acoustic and electric guitar, percussion and drums, creating a vibrant and deeply rooted universe. A proud representative of Tamasheq culture, Boubé follows in the footsteps of great figures of Tuareg music such as Bombino and Mdou Moctar, with whom he has collaborated. His latest album, Voyager (Disques Nuits d’Afrique / Believe, 2025), offers an intense musical journey.
