Doudou Conaré (Mamadou “Doudou” Konaré) is a Senegalese songwriter, composer, arranger, and performer, regarded by purists as one of his country’s greatest solo guitarists. Nicknamed the man with “magical fingers,” this virtuoso is known for his fluid and expressive style that blends Afro-fusion, jazz, and West African musical traditions. As the leader of the Doudou Conaré Project, he brings the richness of Senegal’s musical heritage to life while celebrating the strong values of cultural and family heritage.
