Forró Rasta-Paix is a group that embodies the energy and warmth of forró, a musical style born in northeastern Brazil. Founded a year ago in Montreal, the project stays true to the tradition of this popular music, with a mission to recreate the festive and welcoming atmosphere that has made forró an essential part of Brazilian culture. Inspired by iconic figures such as Luiz Gonzaga, Dominguinhos, Jackson do Pandeiro, Sivuca, and Trio Nordestino, forró draws from the richness of nature, landscapes, and animals while reflecting the joys, struggles, and aspirations of Brazilian society. With its captivating rhythms and vibrant lyrics, it invites couples to dance, fosters togetherness, and celebrates community. Forró Rasta-Paix continues this legacy by offering a musical experience that touches the heart and brings people together. Our melodies and rhythms welcome everyone, creating a space for sharing, joy, and connection in a spirit of community.

CABARET ACOUSTIQUE NUITS D’AFRIQUE – at the Club Balattou

The legendary Club Balattou, and all its team, is happy to welcome you, with the “Cabaret acoustique Nuits d’Afrique”.
