JULIET NELSON
JULIET NELSON
Juliet Nelson is one of Montreal’s most talented reggae voices, with a career built on perseverance, passion, and a magnetic stage presence. Born in Mandeville, Jamaica, she first refined her singing in church choirs before starting her career at 16 as a highly sought-after reggae singer, collaborating with New Horizons Band and Jah Cuttah and the Determanation Band.
Her remarkable performances quickly earned her a wide audience, opening for major artists and joining award-winning groups. She toured with renowned artists such as Buju Banton, Wayne Wonder, Lorraine Klassen, and the group Worl-A-Girl. Concurrently, her solo career flourished under the Penthouse Recording label with popular singles like Turn down the Lights, Lead You, Show and Tell, Love Me or Leave Me, and I Try, along with many studio and stage collaborations with Vernon “Money Worries” Maytone and other reggae artists.
