Keur Senegal brings together two Senegalese artists who are heirs to the griot tradition, carrying on a vibrant musical heritage that blends tradition and modernity. Joe Mbaye, a singer with a powerful and unique voice, draws inspiration from Mandinka sounds and great figures such as Salif Keita to create an intense and captivating musical universe. On stage, he transports the audience to the heart of Dakar with the rhythms of mbalax, djembes, tamas, and sabars. At his side, Fa Cissokho, master djembéfola, composer, and teacher, perpetuates an ancestral Mandinka heritage. Born into a family of griots, he works to pass on African percussion with authenticity and international openness.

Together, they offer a powerful musical journey, celebrating the richness of West African traditions and the energy of sharing on stage.
