Tessiva is a Martinican-American artist whose musical style blends zouk, konpa, jazz, R&B, and pop, offering an exploration of identity through diverse sonic landscapes. Raised between Martinique and the United States, Tessiva’s exposure to Caribbean rhythms and the influence of jazz and soul has shaped her distinctive sound.
With a solid foundation in music, including training with the renowned Arpège Chorale, Tessiva performs in multiple languages—French, Creole, English, Yiddish, and Spanish—reflecting her deep connection to her Creole heritage and multicultural background.
Now based in Montreal, Tessiva is working on her debut EP, “Solal”, a project that delves into themes of self-discovery and the plurality of identities. Her work revitalizes traditional Caribbean sounds, blending them with contemporary influences to create a harmonious fusion. Tessiva’s live performances offer an emotional and immersive experience, where cultural heritage and modern sensibilities converge.

Tamboréal Samba Bloco is a musical collective based in Montreal, celebrating the fusion of Afro-Brazilian rhythms with the vibrant energy of samba in the style of samba schools. Founded by Carlos Henrique Feitosa and Maninho Costa, the group skillfully combines tradition and innovation, reinterpreting Brazilian classics while exploring new sounds. Drawing from influences such as samba de roda, cabila, and other Afro-Brazilian rhythms, Tamboréal offers a unique musical experience, blending powerful percussion, guitar, cavaquinho, and captivating vocals.
Beyond stage performances, the group fosters an immersive experience by hosting open rehearsals, creating a strong, inclusive connection with the audience. Tamboréal Samba Bloco is more than just a music ensemble: it’s a cultural celebration, an invitation to dance, and a living bridge between diverse musical traditions. Whether on stage or in the streets, Tamboréal transforms every performance into a vibrant, unforgettable celebration, where joy and unity come alive through rhythm.
