Imagine no more, because Disques Nuits d’Afrique has just created another compilation album featuring 18 fabulous tracks, an eclectic selection of local and international artists, all at the forefront of the world music scene and slated to perform at this summer’s festival.

You will be treated to the voice of the international star, Yemi Alade in her new hit Baddie, Meiway’s festive Afropop, the rising Comorian rock star, Eliasse, Blick Bassy’s modern blues with his latest
single, Columbian Nidia Gongora’s and The Bongo Hop’s Latin groove, or the powerful voice of Burkinabe artist, Kandy Guira.

And, of course, the album also puts the spotlight on the immense talent and creativity of Montreal based artists, including Paulo Ramos’ Africa Do Brasil, from an album that was recently re-released on the Disques Nuits d’Afrique label. Women also feature prominently, like the talented Noé Lira, 2022-2023 Révélation Radio-Canada, Sophie Lukacs and Senaya, who have all released an album this year to critical acclaim.

Available worldwide on all platforms as of May 31, this compilation will give you a taste of the phenomenal artists who will be getting the festivalgoers dancing in Montreal from July 11 to 23, 2023.
