CHA DO PIFE & AMIS

Cha do Pife & Friends is a Brazilian traditional music group specializing in forró de pífano, a festive and uplifting style born in the Northeast of Brazil. Featuring pífanos (bamboo flutes), a zabumba (bass drum), and an accordion, the group brings to life the authentic sounds of popular festivals and rural processions. Their music, both ancestral and vibrant, invites dancing and celebrates the rich cultural heritage of Brazil and Montreal.

The legendary Club Balattou, and all its team, is happy to welcome you, with the “Cabaret acoustique Nuits d’Afrique”.
