EL FERNY DE LA SALSA

Ferny Munayco, a Peruvian singer based in Montreal since 1985, has been igniting the salsa scene for over three decades. Influenced from childhood by tropical, criolla, and folkloric sounds, he founded his orchestra Canela in 1990, a landmark ensemble that has taken him to perform across Canada. Known for his warm voice and energetic stage presence, he has also shared the stage with salsa greats such as Tony Vega, Maelo Ruiz, and Ray Sepúlveda. In 2022, he unveiled his own compositions, the fruit of a life wholly dedicated to music and rhythm.

The legendary Club Balattou, and all its team, is happy to welcome you, with the “Cabaret acoustique Nuits d’Afrique”.
It is a whole program that awaits you, especially concocted for the public! You will be able to enjoy live performances every week, from Thursday to Sunday, at 9pm. A musical rendez-vous, which makes you travel through Africa, the Caribbean and Latin America, not to be missed !
