Bastin Band | Raï fusion (Algeria)
Carried by the fiery energy of raï and the timeless elegance of Algerian music, Bastin Band shapes a resolutely modern sound where the Maghreb meets the grooves of the world. Their universe, at the crossroads of funk, soul, and traditional rhythms, creates a vibrant fusion that unites dance, emotion, and identity. Through a soulful voice filled with nostalgia and strength, the band brings to life stories of displacement, celebration, and freedom. Desert-scented guitars, deep bass lines, hybrid percussion, and bright brass come together to form a sonic mosaic that both transports and connects audiences. On stage, Bastin Band radiates a magnetic presence: raw, warm, and generous energy. Each track becomes a journey, a bridge stretched between the Mediterranean and international stages, between ancestral heritage and cosmopolitan modernity.

Latitude Samba | Brazilian Rhythms, Samba, Pop (Brazil)
LATITUDE SAMBA is a collective of singers, percussionists, and dancers — mostly Brazilian artists and lovers of Brazilian culture. Born from the desire to bring samba from the South to the North, the group celebrates the meeting of Québécois and Brazilian cultures through vibrant energy, rhythm, and joy. The name Latitude Samba reflects both the journey of samba across the world and the spirit of “Samba Attitude” — a joyful, open, and inclusive way of life. Inspired by the magic of the Rio Carnival, where several of the group’s dancers have performed, LATITUDE SAMBA seeks to share that same passion, warmth, and contagious rhythm with audiences in Quebec. More than a performance, LATITUDE SAMBA is a celebration of multiculturalism, a lively expression of cultural connection through music, dance, and the joy of coming together.
