SABOR 19

Born out of a gathering between two musicians in 2019, Sabor 19 grew around the core duo of Eduardo Ramirez and Mac Gregore Brunis, eventually forming a ten-member band with members from four different backgrounds. Their mission is simple: to get the crowds dancing with wild salsa and cumbia, as if straight out of a Havana cabaret. With roaring brass, fiery percussion, and a skillful mix of covers and original compositions, their take on classics like “Un verano a Nueva York” has fans in a frenzy. In Montreal, a paradise for world music, the Sabor 19 wave quickly sparked a nationwide craze. Honored by the Montreal Caribo Latino Festival and advancing to the semifinals of the 2023 Syli d’Or, they’ve established themselves as a world-class orchestra! 

CABARET ACOUSTIQUE NUITS D’AFRIQUE – at the Club Balattou
