Jab Djab is one of Montreal’s pioneering world music groups, driven by festive rhythms deeply rooted in the Caribbean. Comprising musicians from Trinidad & Tobago and Grenada, the trio takes the audience on a journey through reggae, soca, calypso and zouk, with a touch of American pop. Their warm and infectious music sweeps across the islands like a constant invitation to dance. Inspired by the spirit of the jab, a mischievous carnival character from the Caribbean, they are true entertainers. On stage, their boundless energy and chemistry instantly electrify the audience. Since their debut, they have played an active role in promoting the world music scene in Montreal. As generous and explosive as ever, they know how to turn every performance into a true collective celebration. CABARET ACOUSTIQUE NUITS D’AFRIQUE – at the Club Balattou

The legendary Club Balattou, and all its team, is happy to welcome you, with the “Cabaret acoustique Nuits d’Afrique”.
It is a whole program that awaits you, especially concocted for the public! You will be able to enjoy live performances every week, from Thursday to Sunday, at 9pm. A musical rendez-vous, which makes you travel through Africa, the Caribbean and Latin America, not to be missed !
