As an artist with a passion for Algerian chaâbi music, Ramzi Mihoub has been playing the mandore for over 10 years – an instrument that is emblematic of Algeria’s musical heritage, which he reinterprets with a contemporary sensibility. Throughout his career, he has played with several chaâbi orchestras in Algeria. He has also taken part in the Cabaret Acoustique at the Club Balattou, where he shared his musical world with Montreal audiences through authentic and warm performances.
