BO-THE QU-ING

Bo* fell in love with music at the age of 4 through religious hymns. Of Franco-Cameroonian origin, he draws inspiration from various genres such as soul, electro, blues, jazz, and gospel. An artist with eclectic influences, he has graced international stages in Europe, America, and Africa, participating in prestigious festivals like the Afro-Urbain Festival in Montreal, the Festival des Arts de Ruelle, and Fierté Montréal. Bo* is also the artistic director of several events, including Chérie-Chéri in Strasbourg, Strasbourg Fashion Week, and the Afropolitain Nomade Festival. He has collaborated with renowned companies such as Les Galeries Lafayette, Porsche Strasbourg, and Sofitel. In 2024, he releases his EP “BAD WORLD” and has won several awards, including the Public Award at the New Soul Contest in Strasbourg in 2016 and the OMNIS Revelation of the Year Award in 2013.
