Floric Kim & Felix Cuba

Originally from Congo, Floric Kim is a versatile artist, both musician and stylist, who embodies the new wave of African creativity. Professionally active since 2022, he takes an innovative look at the music scene, fusing his cultural heritage with the everyday realities of young Africans today. His artistic approach is a celebration of modern Africa, in constant dialogue with its roots.

Floric Kim’s style, defined as heritage-inspired global music, combines traditional African sounds with contemporary rhythms, creating a festive, energetic musical fusion. His five-piece live band delivers an up-tempo sound that’s perfect for getting crowds dancing, while conveying a profound message about the cultural richness and dynamic spirit of African youth.

Felix Raul Lias Quiala, known as Felix Cuba, is a Cuban singer-songwriter specializing in urban Latin music. A graduate of Cuba’s Classical Music Institute, he is also a conductor, leading his musicians (percussion, piano, guitar, trumpet, saxophone, trombone, backing vocalists, and DJ). Having arrived in Canada in 2014 and settled permanently in Quebec in 2020, he blends Latin music with French, notably through his hit “UNA CERVEZA POR FAVOR,” which topped Latin song charts on the radio. Passionate about his craft, he has composed for various events and businesses in Quebec and produced international shows. Felix Cuba founded his own event production company in 2020 and has made an impact at festivals both in Quebec and abroad. With over 50 songs in his repertoire, he spans salsa, bachata, merengue, reggaeton, hip-hop, and dance. In August 2024, he ignited the stage at the Festival des rythmes latins in St-Sauveur, performing in front of more than 5,000 spectators.
