Surfing on the sounds of his latest album, Voyager (Disques Nuits d’Afrique, 2025), Boubé is a proud ambassador of the Tamasheq culture; he has worked with renowned Tuareg musicians, Bombino and Mdou Moctar, and distinguishes himself with his authentic desert blues, following the rhythm of the central Saharan nomadic Berber people. To the sound of acoustic and electric guitar, percussion and drums, the spirited, engaging and charismatic singer-songwriter, winner of the 2024 Syli d’argent de la musique du monde, easily moves from meditative melodies to uninhibited rock.
