Cristian Rosemary, a Chilean-born Canadian composer, author, guitarist and writer (who moved to Quebec in 2004), has written nearly 300 songs in Spanish and French since 1976.

He has also adapted the lyrics of the songs “The Captain of her Heart” (Double), “Dans mon île” (Henry Salvador), “Eleanor Rigby” (The Beatles), “I’ve got you under my skin” (Cole Porter), “Close to You” and “The Look of Love” (Burt Bacharach) into either Spanish or French.

Cristian Rosemary currently performs his show “Bossa nova et plus” alone or in trio, mainly in the Laurentians, but he also plays in Montreal (La Brassée, La Petite Marche, etc.) and Costa Rica.

In 2022, the musician shared a concert with Canadian pianist Elizabeth Shepherd, 6 times nominated for a JUNO award (jazz category).

On 6 August 2023, Cristian Rosemary performed with his trio (Cristian Rosemary Trio) at the Festi Jazz de Mont-Tremblant.

A member of SOCAN, Cristian Rosemary is currently recording his very first Canadian album, in collaboration with Elizabeth Shepherd, Manoel Vieira, Alain Plouffe and Guy Richer, among others.
