D4KING is an emerging artist from Quebec with Congolese roots. His musical style, which he calls Afroluv, blends Afrobeat, contemporary R&B, and urban pop. This unique fusion reflects his cultural background, personal journey, and his ambition to connect with audiences through sincere, universal storytelling. Born in Montreal and raised in Laval, D4KING discovered music at 17 after an impromptu collaboration with a friend. Inspired by artists like Dadju, Franglish, and Tayc, he also draws influence from his travels in Europe and his deep connection to his Congolese heritage, often incorporating Lingala into his songs.

Tracks like Motema (heart) and Yoka Mama (listen to me, darling) blend emotion and authenticity, exploring themes of love and perseverance. In 2024, he released his debut EP, Cœur et Couronne, a project that marks a pivotal moment in his career, combining tradition with global influences. D4KING delivers immersive performances, combining energy and authenticity. His Afroluv style is a captivating mix of Afrobeat, R&B, and urban pop, enriched by his origins and personal experiences, creating music that speaks to the heart of his audience.

Originally from Minas Gerais in the Southeast region of Brazil, Thaynara Perí, singer and songwriter, has nurtured her passion for the arts from a young age. In 2015, she began her professional music journey, captivating and earning the respect of audiences wherever she performs. With notable appearances at prestigious events such as the European EDP Live Band in 2020 and the release of her debut single in 2021, Thaynara has established herself as a remarkable voice on the music scene. Since 2022, Montreal has become her creative haven, where her artistic roots continue to flourish. Her participation in the Syli d’Or showcase and subsequent performance at the prestigious Nuits d’Afrique International Festival reflect her rising career. Inspired by a diverse range of rhythms, from rock and jazz to Afro-Brazilian music and bossa nova, Thaynara weaves a unique and electrifying sound. In each melody, she harmoniously blends traditional and contemporary elements, creating a musical experience that transcends cultural boundaries and promises to touch the hearts of audiences.
