From February 11 to April 24, 2025, every Tuesday and Wednesday at 8:30pm at the Club Balattou, you can participate to the selection of the 9 bands ‘’Coup de coeur’’ who will be send in semi-finales !

Drawing inspiration from renowned artists such as Fredy Massamba and Jacques Lubelo, Hendry crafts a musical universe where tradition harmoniously blends with modernity. His style, rooted in a global sound with heritage influences, fuses authentic African tones with contemporary elements, creating a sonic experience that is both captivating and dynamic.
On stage, he is accompanied by four talented musicians who bring a vibrant energy to his compositions. Together, they deliver an upbeat sound designed to captivate and engage the audience while honoring the richness of African percussion and melodies. With a musical approach that is both refined and powerful, Hendry invites listeners on a sensory journey where ancestral rhythms and modern arrangements intertwine with elegance.

Forró Rasta-Paix is a group that embodies the energy and warmth of forró, a musical style born in northeastern Brazil. Founded a year ago in Montreal, the project stays true to the tradition of this popular music, with a mission to recreate the festive and welcoming atmosphere that has made forró an essential part of Brazilian culture.
Inspired by iconic figures such as Luiz Gonzaga, Dominguinhos, Jackson do Pandeiro, Sivuca, and Trio Nordestino, forró draws from the richness of nature, landscapes, and animals while reflecting the joys, struggles, and aspirations of Brazilian society. With its captivating rhythms and vibrant lyrics, it invites couples to dance, fosters togetherness, and celebrates community.
Forró Rasta-Paix continues this legacy by offering a musical experience that touches the heart and brings people together. Our melodies and rhythms welcome everyone, creating a space for sharing, joy, and connection in a spirit of community.

Be part of the adventure: attend as many concerts as you want for free and rate your favourite artists each night. You will be invited to fill out an evaluation form, it is important to EVALUATE THE TWO PERFORMANCES of the evening and attend the two performances.
