A true breath of fresh air, Joseph Samuel Malack’s—aka JSM L’Officiel—performances are bursting with infectious energy. A versatile artist trained at the National School of Arts in Dakar, he transports the audience through a rich and multifaceted universe. Carried by mesmerizing percussion, his slam poetry and hip-hop phrasing intertwine with catchy West African melodies, offering an intense experience open to the world.

A regular on the festival circuit, JSM has traveled across Quebec all the way to the Gaspé Peninsula, whose spirit of freedom suits him perfectly. As the runner-up in the Dakar Poetry Slam, he embodies the vibrant, evolving spirit of Senegalese hip-hop. In 2025, he made a lasting impression at the Syli d’Or by winning the “Discovery” title.

It is a whole program that awaits you, especially concocted for the public! You will be able to enjoy live performances every week, from Thursday to Sunday, at 9pm. A musical rendez-vous, which makes you travel through Africa, the Caribbean and Latin America, not to be missed !
