REGGAE UPRISING BAND

The Reggae Uprising Band is known for the friendly, energetic, and inclusive atmosphere it creates at every performance. The band is made up of passionate musicians united by shared ideals. They met in local bars and community venues, and eventually decided to come together and form a band. The band draws from over a century of world music, reggae, soul, R&B, jazz, folk, country, and rock to offer audiences a blend of musical classics that people of all ages can enjoy. The Uprising Band has also collaborated with musical artists such as Luciano, Marcia Griffiths, Tinga Stewart, Ras Lee, Leroy Sibbles, Errol Dunkley, Leroy Gibbons, General Trees, and Horace Martin.

The legendary Club Balattou, and all its team, is happy to welcome you, with the “Cabaret acoustique Nuits d’Afrique”.
It is a whole program that awaits you, especially concocted for the public! You will be able to enjoy live performances every week, from Thursday to Sunday, at 9pm. A musical rendez-vous, which makes you travel through Africa, the Caribbean and Latin America, not to be missed !
