From February 11 to April 24, 2025, every Tuesday and Wednesday at 8:30pm at the Club Balattou, you can participate to the selection of the 9 bands ‘’Coup de coeur’’ who will be send in semi-finales !

▷ Tarab pop! | Oriental Fusion (Syria / Lebanon)
TARAB Pop is a unique musical quartet where the classics of Arabic music merge with the spirit of jazz and the energy of flamenco. Led by four talented musicians, the group weaves a dialogue between tradition and modernity, offering a mesmerizing and immersive musical experience. Each member brings their artistic sensitivity and musical heritage, creating a captivating sonic alchemy. They play Arabic music infused with other genres, influenced by their musical journeys and acquired cultural backgrounds. The word TARAB refers to traditional Oriental music, evoking deep emotions and transcendent musical experiences.
▷ Aziz Siten’K | Slam & musique mandingue (Mali)
Aziz Siten’K, born Abdoul Aziz Kone, is a pioneer of slam poetry in Mali, named the country’s best slammer in 2016 by the Mali Hip Hop Awards. He is also the author of several works on slam, including Dungaré (Mirror), Malian Slam Poetry Anthology, and Slam Class (for teaching slam). Trained at the Conservatory of Arts and Crafts and Multimedia Balla Fasséké Kouyaté (CAMM-BFK) and having completed a stage at Northeastern University (USA), he has played a key role in promoting slam worldwide. Aziz created the Mali International Slam and Humor Festival (FISH MALI) and other initiatives like Slam Class and Massa Slam. After launching his two albums TOUNGA (2011) and DUNGARE (2016), he presented his Dungaré show at the MASA in Abidjan in 2020 and participated in several international festivals. In 2021, he moved to Montreal, where he became a key figure in the local slam scene, contributing to the Festival International Nuits d’Afrique. Today, known as Slam Baba, he is the founder of the Slam Awards International, a major ceremony honoring slammers worldwide.

Be part of the adventure: attend as many concerts as you want for free and rate your favourite artists each night. You will be invited to fill out an evaluation form, it is important to EVALUATE THE TWO PERFORMANCES of the evening and attend the two performances.
