Momo Soro is a drummer, percussionist and singer from Korhogo (Ivory Coast). With his group Jazz Z’wa, they offer a musical experience full of wild rhythms, colored with a hint of jazz, pop and groove, all sprinkled with both love and tenderness.

From an early age, he developed a passion for percussion. He even built his own drums using cans and cardboard boxes. This dedication is what led Momo to be noticed by the Ivorian orchestra Les Mewlessel and take part in his first world tour.

Momo Soro has shared the stage with some of the world’s biggest stars, most notably as a drummer for Tiken Jah Fakoly.

When he arrived in Quebec, his talent was quickly recognized by the local recording and entertainment industry. It was with the group Dobacaracol that he began to perform his own songs. International recognition followed thanks to a gold record in 2005.
