JabDjab is a Montreal-based group comprised of three musicians hailing from Trinidad and Tobago and Grenada. As pioneers of world music in Montreal, they bring the heat, much like the hit song “Hot, Hot, Hot” by The Merrymen, which stands at the top of their repertoire. From reggae to soca, calypso to zouk, their music dances from one Caribbean island to another, with a touch of American pop. Like the mischievous jab, a playful devilish character from the Caribbean carnival tradition, they are public entertainers. Their sound is always energetic and vibrant. With their knack for celebration, mischief, and immense talent for getting the crowd on their feet, they are joined for this evening by a variety of artists paying homage to the diversity of rhythms.

The legendary Club Balattou, and all its team, is happy to welcome you, with the “Cabaret acoustique Nuits d’Afrique”.
