TERRY GILLESPIE
TERRY GILLESPIE
Terry Gillespie, born in Canada and raised in the United States, returned to his homeland in the 1960s. Deeply influenced by the blues, he played with legends such as Howling Wolf and Buddy Guy. In Ottawa, he co-founded Heaven’s Radio, a pioneering rock band that enjoyed national success. After the band split up, Terry built a solo career, often collaborating with musicians from Barbados, Jamaica and South Africa. Winters spent in Jamaica further enriched his eclectic sound palette.
